Dear parents, reflecting on the past few weeks, it has certainly been a frenetic and challenging period, with schools across our district forced to close for several days due to the severe weather conditions. To all Woodridge families affected by the flooding, we continue to hold you in our thoughts and sincerely hope that life is gradually returning to a sense of normality. The impact of the storms was very real and, at times, deeply testing. Yet, in the midst of these challenges, the resilience, compassion, and care within the Woodridge community have shone through.

We want them to flourish academically, to make first teams, to perform on stage, and to discover and develop their gifts. Healthy striving, commitment, discipline, and excellence are all deeply worthwhile pursuits. At Woodridge Preparatory, we believe strongly in encouraging children to pursue their potential with courage and enthusiasm. I would like to begin this communication by expressing my sincere gratitude to the entire Woodridge community for your patience, understanding, and support as we navigated the challenging weather conditions together. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all those who have been affected by the severe weather, and we trust that the road to recovery will not be too difficult.

Prep Circular - 8 May 2026

Dear parents, as we began Term 2, we gathered as a Preparatory School around a simple but powerful message: start small, plan well, and finish strong. It is a message rooted not only in performance, but in character, discipline, and consistency. There is something uniquely energising about the winter season at Woodridge. The fields, courts, and astro turf come alive with competition, courage, and camaraderie. There is a tangible buzz across the campus—conversations filled with anticipation, encouragement, and team spirit. It is, without doubt, one of the most special times in our school calendar.
