Dear parents, as we conclude Term 2, I am thrilled to share the remarkable achievements and events that have made this term at Woodridge Prep truly special. On the arts and cultural front, there has been a few events that showcased our pupils’ creativity, passion, and flair, starting with the "Woodridge Has Got Talent" contest. This wonderful initiative was the brainchild of Grade 5 pupil, Holley Diedericks. Together with Mrs Pienaar, she arranged this jaw-dropping event. Funds to the tune of R4500 was donated to the OLLI Foundation as a result of this contest.

Dear parents, revisiting a theme in a previous editorial, I would like to share some inspiring thoughts on resilience, learning, and growth. In short, resilience is defined as the ability to successfully adapt to challenging experiences. Resilience is not an inherent trait; it involves specific actions, thoughts, and behaviours that are learned and developed through experiences and over time.

Dear families, last weekend marked the annual OWA weekend, where numerous Old Woodridgeans returned to campus to reconnect with school friends and reminisce about their time at Woodridge. Baton of Hope schools get moving for rhinos

On World Rhino Day last year, Woodridge Preparatory School pledged to be actively involved in helping to save the rhinos as part of the One Land Love It (OLLI) Conservation Initiative.
