Dear Parents

As we bring another incredible Adventure Season to a close, I find myself reflecting on what has been a remarkable few weeks at Woodridge Prep. A season filled with muddy shoes, tired legs, wet clothes, punctured tyres, determined faces, plenty of laughter, and, above all, extraordinary personal growth. While we turn our attention to summer sports after half-term, our Grade 1 and 2 pupils will continue their canoeing and mountain biking preparations for their much-anticipated Adventure Triathlon. For the rest of the school, today marks the culmination of another memorable Adventure Season. And what a season it has been!

It takes a village to raise a child, and it certainly takes a community to deliver an Adventure Season at Woodridge! To our incredible parents, thank you. Whether riding alongside our pupils, driving support vehicles, towing trailers, transporting bicycles, racking canoes, or cheering from the sidelines, your contribution has been invaluable. Quite simply, we could not offer these experiences without your willingness to get involved.

To our extraordinary staff, an equally heartfelt thank you. There is something remarkable about watching dedicated teachers transform into adventure coaches, mountain bikers, paddlers, mechanics, and logistical coordinators! From late nights loading bicycles and racking canoes in the pouring rain to early mornings preparing for races, their commitment has been
exceptional. You would have to travel a long way to find a more dedicated team than the staff of Woodridge Prep, united by a shared belief in the value of these experiences.

But the real heroes of this season have undoubtedly been our young adventurers. Our Grade 3 pupils tackled...
