Dear parents, whether we like it or not, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models such as ChatGPT are here to stay. The pace at which these technologies are developing is remarkable. They have the potential to transform the way we work, communicate, solve problems, and learn. As a school, we are both excited and challenged by this new chapter in education. Like every significant technological advancement before it, AI presents incredible opportunities alongside important questions and responsibilities.

Dear parents, despite another rain-interrupted week and a winter season that is now well underway, our campus continues to buzz with energy. Whether it has been sporting fixtures, Slipper Day fun, outdoor learning opportunities, or simply the daily rhythm of school life, I am continually struck by the joy, resilience, and enthusiasm of our children and staff. The weather may occasionally alter our plans, but it never dampens the spirit of our community.

Dear parents, as we began Term 2, we gathered as a Preparatory School around a simple but powerful message: start small, plan well, and finish strong. It is a message rooted not only in performance, but in character, discipline, and consistency. There is something uniquely energising about the winter season at Woodridge. The fields, courts, and astro turf come alive with competition, courage, and camaraderie. There is a tangible buzz across the campus—conversations filled with anticipation, encouragement, and team spirit. It is, without doubt, one of the most special times in our school calendar.
