Dear Families

At the beginning of October one of our staff members remarked, "What has happened to September?" The same question could easily be asked about October and November. Time might have flown by, but what a term it has been! It was jam-packed with a host of different activities that have made these past three months truly special. The year-end has brought with it wonderful celebratory moments – from our sports and music awards to academic achievements ceremonies, the Pre-Primary graduation, Christmas party and concert.

The Grade 7s have had a particularly busy end of term. They wrote their second set of examinations, and the conversations around these assessments were fascinating. Not surprisingly, they were quick to share their honest perspectives, which included anything from "it was stressful," to "it could really knock your confidence." Even though the exams made them feel anxious and under pressure, many of them recognised their value.
