
Dear Parents
This year so far has been a busy and rewarding time, filled with exciting experiences that continue to keep our Prep pupils engaged and active. Besides our boys’ and girls’ cricket fixtures, a number of other activities have added to the energy of school life.
Our girls’ and boys’ Water Polo teams recently competed in the Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festival. The four-day tournament proved to be a wonderful experience for 24 of our boys and girls who played 16 matches against some of the strongest Water Polo schools in our country. Many of these schools specialise in individual sports, making the opposition particularly tough. Despite this, our teams showed incredible tenacity and determination, delivering performances we can all be proud of.
We also introduced a new format for the Inter house swimming gala. The Inter house races allowed for greater participation while the championship races enabled our top swimmers to compete at a higher level against one another. Training for the Grade 7 Great Tri has commenced and has been helpful in preparing the children for the event, while also encouraging them to improve their fitness and giving them an opportunity to work as a team during these organised outdoor activities...
