Prep Circular - 17 October 2024

Dear parents, as we look back on the first half of this term, it has been wonderful to see our Grade 3–7 children embracing the spirit of adventure that is typical of activities at this time of the school year. The adventure races have once again been a true highlight, characterised by unforgettable moments filled with enthusiasm, resilience, and teamwork. For our younger grades, the races begin as exciting explorations — a chance to test balance, coordination, and courage in a fun, encouraging environment. With each year, the level of intensity and challenge gently increases, and it has been heartening to see the children rise to meet it. What begins as a simple introduction to outdoor skills gradually grows into something much deeper — experiences of personal growth.

Dear parents, as we head into our half-term break, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support throughout what has been an incredibly busy, productive, and rewarding first half of the term. The past few weeks have been filled with meaningful academic progress, exciting cocurricular achievements, and many moments that remind us of the strength and vibrancy of our Woodridge community. From the classroom to the sports fields, from final events for the matrics to cultural pursuits, our students have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and purpose.

Prep Circular - 26 September 2025

Dear Parents, in this circular, we are sharing feedback from Garron Adlard, the Prep school Head of Round Square, following their recent attendance at a conference in India. During the August holidays, five Woodridge pupils, namely Anina Krugel, Murray-John Boonzaier, Austin Botes, Gibran Hassim, and Jasper Poultney, represented the Prep at a Round Square Conference in India. Accompanying these children were Mr Garron Adlard and Mrs Roslyn Pienaar.

Dear Parents, as we reach the end of Week 4 of the final term of 2025, it’s hard to believe how quickly time is passing. The energy on campus is palpable as we move deeper into the heart of the term, with academics, cultural activities, and sporting commitments all in full swing. It’s a busy but exciting time at Woodridge College, and we are proud of the way our pupils are embracing the challenges and opportunities that come with this crucial part of the school year.
