Dear parents, it’s been a busy and emotional two weeks as we celebrated our award winners at the annual Prize Giving, experienced OE Day only for the second time in five years due to COVID and rain, and then said farewell to our matric class of 2024 at the Valedictory Service. Dear parents, the past few days have been a celebration of our Matric Class of 2024 as they get ever closer to their Valedictory Service. After the Preliminary Examinations, they blew off a bit of steam with the 40-Day Celebration before they started to fine-tune their preparation for their Final IEB Examinations, starting in just over a week. I need to acknowledge how our Matrics have conducted themselves – they have been such positive role models to the rest of the school. Dear parents, I trust this communication finds you well and that your families have settled into the rhythm of the third term. As we move into the fourth week of term on Monday, we are already able to reflect on the amazing work many of our students and staff have managed to accomplish. Term 3 has gotten off to a flying start. The second camps week of the year is done and dusted, the Outdoor Education programme is in full swing as the various House teams prepare for OE Day and many of our sports teams have already participated in fixtures against other schools as they get into the summer sports season. As always, we encourage you to stay engaged and connected as we work together to ensure a successful and productive term for all our students.
