As we draw the curtain on what has been a long and demanding winter term, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the collective effort, resilience, and spirit that have been so evident in our community over the past months. The winter term is always filled with challenges — cold mornings, busy schedules, and the inevitable weariness that accumulates as the weeks unfold. And yet, amidst all this, I have witnessed moments of excellence, kindness, growth, and deep commitment from our amazing pupils. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, on stage, or behind the scenes, our community has shown its character. When I look around the school, I am so grateful for the people who make up Woodridge College.

Last week, I attended an ISASA heads meeting, and one of the speakers focused on the concept of positive education. In the world we live in today, our lives are made so much easier because of technology – yet human morale is extremely low!
