In a full round of inter-school matches against Kingswood College, Woodridge excelled by winning 3 out of the 4 matches played. The Woodridge 1st Team fought determinedly to beat Kingswood in a low scoring match. Batting first, Woodridge struggled against a very consistent Kingswood attack and lost wickets at regular intervals, with only James Beckley scoring 46 runs. Thanks to partnerships between Bukho Pantsi, Ryan Porter and Mihlali Sodladla, they ended up with a total of 120 runs. Woodridge came in to bowl and Kingswood got off to a flying start with 70 runs in 16 overs and 2 wickets down. With some determined bowling, we managed to bowl them out for 98 runs. Waydon Bopp had an exceptional spell, taking 4 wickets for 24 runs in 6 overs. He was supported by Bukho Pantsi and Mihlali Sodladla who each took two wickets. Towards the end of the match it became very tight, but the Woodridge bowlers kept the pressure on and Kingswood eventually succumbed 22 runs short of the total.

2nd Team game summary
We won the toss and went in to bowl. Cwenga Ncapayi struck first up with a beauty, giving Woodridge the upper hand early on. After 7.2 overs, Kingswood was reeling 25 for 5. They put up  some resistance with a frustrating partnership for the 6th wicket, which was soon thwarted by some phenomenal bowling by Timothy Teulon who bowled 4 overs and took 4 wickets for not a single run. Cwenga Ncapayi came back to finish off the tail, returning figures of 5 for 30 in 6.4 overs. Kingswood were bowled out for 84 in 16.4 overs. Woodridge then went in to bat and were in early strife as we lost our first wicket with only 10 runs on the board. Tristan Torrance came in and struck it to all corners of the ground, before playing one shot too many and perished after smashing 2 huge sixes and a four, ending on 22 runs off 10 balls. Woodridge proceeded to lose 3 quick wickets with a score of 63 for 5. Zche-Keane Killian once again stood up, showing maturity and a level head, and steered us to victory with a well-constructed 37 off 34 balls.  Woodridge won by 5 wickets with 36.4 overs remaining.

After a delayed start, Woodridge lost the toss and were asked to bowl first. With some sharp thinking from Zche-Keane Killian we got off to an ideal start with a run out in the first over.
