Dear Parents

We are not yet two months into the 2023 academic year and already so much has happened. The photographs included in this edition provide a snapshot of just how busy the school has been in this short time. The College management team was most satisfied with the 2022 matric results that were published recently. The Woodridge College matric class of 2022 achieved a 100% pass rate, with 51 Bachelor’s Degree passes, two Diploma passes, one Higher Certificate pass, and a total of 83 distinctions. The top achievers were Tamryn Louw with seven distinctions, Chrizney Butler with six, Thomas de Villiers, Marc Pape, Kyle Smith, and Isa Stiemie each with five, and Jessica Brown and James Kruger with four. We are also exceptionally proud of all those who met their goals, like the pupil who just passed mathematics in Grade 8 but who, through hard work and determination, achieved 70% for matric mathematics.

Congratulations to the teachers, led so capably by Dr Logie, and to the support staff for providing an environment in which our pupils can apply their minds to the many academic demands, culminating in such excellent results.
