Dear Parents

We have reached the end of another busy and action-packed term. Most of our pupils have participated in a wide variety of activities and have travelled to sporting fixtures and cultural events both locally and out of the province. There have been many successes and lessons gained from our interaction with players and pupils from other schools and clubs. We appreciate both the effort given to these important activities by our children and staff, and the support from parents.

Woodridge has recently become a member of the international Round-Square organisation of schools. A group of grade 9 pupils attended a five-day conference held at St Stithian’s College in Johannesburg. The theme was INHLABA, a Zulu name for aloe. Elsa Ross provides more insight below.
