Woodridge Preparatory School is extremely excited to be hosting the 2024 Independent Schools Rugby Festival from 20-24 June 2024. It promises to be an exhilarating experience, bringing together passionate rugby enthusiasts from various regions and backgrounds for thrilling rugby action and camaraderie.
Since its inception in 2012, the festival has remained true to its primary focus of providing boys in the independent schools sector with the opportunity to play rugby against teams from other regions in order to test their skills and further develop their rugby knowledge.
The ethos of the festival is one of participation, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. Woodridge has included two development teams, bringing about social upliftment and building the self-esteem of these underprivileged children through the festival. The festival embraces the core values of sportsmanship, competitive spirit, respect, passion, camaraderie, collegiality and enjoyment.
