Dear Parents

A very warm welcome to the next edition of the bi-weekly communication. As always, I am grateful for all the support and partnership of our parent community. The past two weeks have been full and have demanded much time and effort from a significant portion of the student body. From the classroom to the sports field, and everywhere in between, we are proud of the energy, commitment and spirit our students continue to show. Since my last communication I have had the opportunity of travelling to the UK to catch up with alumni in that part of the world. 

One of the great privileges of being part of the Woodridge community is reconnecting with our alumni. Their stories, reflections, and achievements beyond school walls serve as powerful reminders of the lasting impact of a Woodridge education. It is always
heartening to hear former students speak so fondly of their time here—the friendships formed, the lessons learned, and the values instilled. These positive experiences not only affirm the work we do daily but also inspire us to continue building a school culture that
nurtures, challenges, and supports every child. Staying in touch with our Old Woodridgeans strengthens our sense of continuity and tradition and reminds us that the journey doesn’t end at graduation—it continues, enriched by lifelong connection and pride.
Our current students gain immensely from the involvement and support of Woodridge alumni. Whether through mentorship, career guidance, or simply hearing real-life stories of resilience and success, alumni provide a living link between the present and
