
Dear Parents
I trust this message finds you well and looking forward to the half-term break. It has been a busy and productive start to the year, and it has been inspiring to see so many of our students fully engaging in all aspects of College life. A busy teenager is naturally encouraged to plan, organise, and manage distractions—valuable skills that will serve them well beyond school. As I reflect on the past six to seven weeks, I am in awe of the many positive moments we have experienced in such a short space of time. This is only possible through the collective efforts of you, the parents, our incredible students, and a dedicated team of staff. Woodridge College remains a school that challenges students to reach their full potential as they grow into young adults of significance. Of course, as in any school, we have also encountered discipline challenges along the way.
What has stood out to me, however, is the honesty our students have shown in difficult situations. As long as honesty prevails, we can take a restorative approach to education—helping students learn and grow from their mistakes. In life, we all falter at times, but what truly matters is taking responsibility, learning from our missteps, and moving forward. That being said, I want to highlight....
