
Dear Parents
The weeks are starting to fly by as we come to the end of the third week of the term already, and yet so much has happened in this short space of time. The first few weeks have been a happy time for many of our students as they get to showcase their talents on the field of play. The positive spirit in the School has been wonderful to experience and evident at the two Derby Day fixtures we have had so far this term. However, one thing that is also noticeable amongst some students, is the rising anxiety as we get closer to the June examinations, which start in just under three weeks from now. As this period approaches, we understand that both you and your child may be feeling apprehensive and stressed. While exams are a natural part of the learning process, it's essential to address any anxiety your child may be experiencing to ensure they are able to perform to the best of their ability whilst maintaining their well-being. As a parent myself, who is navigating the College examinations for the first time, I did some research on what I can do at home to assist him, as we as a family move toward this examination session.
