Dear Parents
It has been wonderful to welcome our learners back for the start of the new school year. The first week is always a busy and important one, and there has certainly been a great deal of energy and activity around the campus as everyone settles back into the rhythm of school life. For many of our learners, this week has meant adjusting to early mornings again, navigating their way between classrooms, reconnecting with friends and teachers, and resuming academic routines after a long holiday. At the same time, sports practices and activities have started up again, bringing back the buzz and excitement that come with training and teamwork.
Our Grade 8 learners, in particular, have had a full week as they begin their journey at Woodridge College. Starting at a new school comes with a lot of new information, new expectations, and many new faces, and we are proud of how they have embraced this important transition. We look forward to watching them grow in confidence and independence as the term progresses. This morning, we also inducted our Prefects for 2026. This is always a special milestone in the life of the school, and we are confident that this group of leaders will set a positive example and help guide the culture of our College in the year ahead.
