Woodridge

the bursary fund

Potential deserves opportunity...

Some of South Africa's most remarkable young people simply need someone to believe in them. Every bursary awarded at Woodridge represents an investment in exceptional young people who enrich our school community through academic achievement, sport, leadership, service and the arts. In return, they receive far more than an education, they gain the confidence, values and opportunities that shape the rest of their lives.

The impact of that investment extends far beyond the school gates. Woodridge bursary recipients go on to become leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, sportsmen and sportswomen, and active members of their communities. They carry the values of integrity, compassion, resilience and service with them wherever life takes them.

Every contribution to the Woodridge Bursary Fund helps another deserving young person realise their potential while strengthening the diversity, excellence and future of the Woodridge community.

Invest in a future. Change a life.

Every bursary tells a story. Edith's is one of determination, resilience, and opportunity. Thanks to the generosity of Woodridge bursary donors, she was able to embrace every opportunity a Woodridge education offered. Today, Edith has proudly represented South Africa at two Olympic Games as a member of the South African Women's Hockey Team.

Her journey reminds us that when exceptional young people are given the chance to realise their potential, there is no limit to what they can achieve.
