Our School

Woodridge College & Preparatory School is an ISASA accredited, independent school, located between Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) and Jeffreys Bay on a picturesque 365-acre estate and is home to nearly 800-day scholars and boarders from South Africa and abroad. When enrolment begins from as young as two years old, our pupils are nurtured in mind, body and spirit through holistic education to reach their full potential in life.

Dear parents, as the curtain comes down on our winter sports season, we are able to reflect on a season with many memorable moments and some disappointments along the way. There have been many highlights - games won through determination and teamwork, individual moments of brilliance, and the spirit of camaraderie that has brought teams and supporters together across all codes. These are the moments that remind us of the power of sport to unite, inspire, and grow young people.

Prep Circular - 6 June 2025

Dear families, at the Prep school, we believe in fostering independence, self-motivation, and ownership of learning – qualities that will serve our pupils well throughout their lives. With this in mind, I would like to share some opportunities that can enrich their learning experiences beyond the classroom walls. Let me be clear from the outset, this is not homework. We continue to uphold our no-homework policy because we understand that our children already have full days at school, and commuting extends their day even further. Home time should be time to play, relax, and, most importantly, enjoy quality family time. However, we do see great value in creating opportunities for children to engage with learning at home in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. This is an invitation, not an obligation.
