TOP MATRIC RESULTS AT WOODRIDGE

Writing the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate, Woodridge College have achieved outstanding results.  Christopher Arderne, from Cape St. Francis, is the school’s top achiever with seven A’s and two B’s.  Chris scored 96% for Mathematics and 91% for Mathematics paper three.

Also with seven A’s was Jacqui Mackenzie from Plettenberg Bay.  Jacqui also excels on the sports field and is one of the school’s top musicians.

In third place is Philipe Breiding who achieved six A’s and 3 B’s.  Philipe hails from Worms, Germany and has been a pupil at Woodridge for 5 years. 

Sasha Straeuli and Holly Bailey both achieved six A’s and a B.

Woodridge is very pleased with these top academic results.  They are a product of many years of concentrated academic focus, ensuring that Woodridge remains one of the top academic institutions in the region.

Almost 90% of the 2009 matriculants at Woodridge qualified to study for a bachelors degree at university.  These excellent results together with an unique environment and varied extramural programme, make Woodridge College and Preparatory School a popular and highly desirable schooling option in the Eastern Cape.
