Originally the Woodridge Pre-School began as a small playgroup catering for staff children. Gradually the demand grew for Woodridge to provide for the needs of little ones outside the school boundaries.  Today we have the following classes:

• Pre-School (Grade R or Grade 0) - 5 - 6 years old
• Bunnies (Grade 00)  -  4 - 5 years old
• Ducklings (Grade 000) - 3 - 4 years old
• Kittens (Grade 0000) -  2 - 3 years old

The same outcomes based curriculum as is being used in the Foundation Phase was implemented. As an important part of their development, the children are exposed to exciting experiences outside the classroom where they enjoy outings, swimming, movement skills and tennis.

Our beautiful campus and Nature Reserve are used as anoutdoor environmental classroom to instill valuable environmental awareness.

School begins at 08:00 and closes at 12:30 on Mondays to Fridays including Public Holidays during the school term.  After-care facilities accommodate the growing number of city children attending Woodridge.

Optional extras such as Monkeynastix, Kumon Maths, Swimming, Professional Tennis, Professional Swimming, Playgolf, Judo, Cricket, Ballet and Modern Dancing are also available to cater for all our young talent.
